Very good book by a talented lady.
Again, this book like the others I have purchased & read from Kay Homernick Scholtz is a page turner from start to finish..once started, can't seem to put down.. She writes in a way where you feel you are actually being transported to that time to experience all being described as well..If you haven't experienced nature as Kay did-up close & personal, a person will definitely learn to appreciate as Kay did & not take any of it for granted!
It is so wonderful to have this nature blog in print, Kays legacy will live on through the memories recorded in her journal. .
Kay was a very special friend of mine, she always met challenges in her life 'head on'. She was a very quiet person, but when she talked/wrote, everyone listened. I always loved our 'down to earth' conversations. I have great memories of Kay that I will cherish the rest of my life. All of her books are well worth reading.
